Shower Walls & Waterproof Resin Systems

If you want a clean, modern shower without grout lines and without the “hope it holds” install — we’re your people. The truth is simple: waterproofing is a system, not a product you roll on and pray. We build shower wall systems that are designed, detailed, and finished like they’re going to be used every day… because they are.

Seamless Shower Walls No Grout Lines Tile-Over Options (When Stable) Corners & Transitions Detailed Steam / Vapor Considerations Gloss • Satin • Matte
Quick honesty up front:

Most shower “coating” failures aren’t mysterious — they happen at corners, niches, transitions, drains, and anywhere waterproofing was treated like an afterthought. We don’t do that.

How we quote (fast + accurate): Use the quote form and upload photos/videos of the shower, plus rough dimensions and your goal (modern, stone, spa, bold, etc.).

The Standards That Prevent “Shower Disasters”

A shower is not a backsplash. It’s daily water, heat, cleaners, movement, and time. The install is only as strong as the weakest detail — so we treat the details like they matter.

🧱 Substrate Evaluation

We start with what’s underneath. If the base is wrong, the finish doesn’t matter.

  • Tile vs drywall vs cement board vs foam board
  • Movement, loose areas, damaged framing
  • Niches/benches/penetrations checked first

🛡️ Waterproofing Strategy

Waterproofing is a system: compatible layers, correct detailing, and clean transitions.

  • Seams + corners treated like mission-critical
  • Penetrations sealed correctly (valves, heads, sprays)
  • Built based on the actual use-case (daily vs steam)

🌫️ Steam / Vapor Considerations

Steam showers introduce vapor-drive. That’s a different animal than “normal shower”.

  • Membrane/vapor strategy matters
  • Ceilings + exterior walls handled correctly
  • If your plan needs a different build, we’ll say it

Where showers actually fail

Not the middle of the wall. The failure points are predictable — so we attack them.

Corners & changes of plane (movement + water = problems if ignored)
Niches, benches, shelves (more seams, more risk if rushed)
Transitions (tub-to-wall, curb-to-wall, floor-to-wall)
Penetrations (valves, shower heads, body sprays)

What we’re not doing

We’re not here to sell you a “cheap miracle paint job” that turns into a redo.

No “scuff it and send it” installs
No skipping waterproofing because “it’ll probably be fine”
No pretending steam showers are the same as regular showers
No guessing games on cure time and exposure

Real Talk: Safety, Leaks, Tile vs Resin, and Maintenance

You should ask these questions. Anyone who gets annoyed by them… is the wrong installer.

Is it safe?We ventilate and we’re clear about when it’s safe to use. No “same day” fantasy promises.
Will it leak?Leaks come from incorrect waterproofing under the finish. Detail work is the priority.
Better than tile?No grout lines, easier cleaning, modern look — but install quality matters more than the material.
Steam shower?Steam adds vapor pressure. The system must account for vapor, not just liquid water.
Maintenance?Non-abrasive cleaners. Avoid harsh scouring pads that can dull a finish.

Dad-level advice (without the yelling): If your shower walls are soft, moving, or water-damaged — it’s not a “finish problem.” It’s a rebuild conversation. We’ll tell you which one you’re in.

Our Build Process

Bathrooms punish shortcuts. We build it like a system — or we don’t build it.

1) Scope + GoalsPhotos/videos, dimensions, existing condition, design direction.
2) Prep + StabilityWe correct what’s loose/failing/contaminated. Bond is everything.
3) Waterproof DetailsSeams, corners, penetrations, transitions. This is the separator.
4) Build + FinishDesign/movement built for your lighting. Finish chosen for function and feel.
5) Topcoat + CureProtective topcoat + cure plan + clear use rules. No vague timelines.

Can you go over existing tile?

Often, yes — if the tile and substrate are stable (no movement, no loose areas, no hidden water damage). If it’s compromised underneath, we’ll recommend the correct fix first.

Is it safe? (VOC / cure time / when can I use it?)

We plan ventilation and we’re clear about when it’s safe to use again. The key is letting the system cure properly before hot showers and cleaners hit it.

Will it leak?

Leaks come from corners, seams, penetrations, and transitions being treated like “details” instead of “the foundation.” We build the waterproofing system first — then the finish.

Is it better than tile?

Depends on your priorities. Resin systems can give you a seamless look and easier cleaning, but install quality matters more than the material.

What cleaners should I avoid?

Skip harsh abrasives and aggressive scouring pads. Keep it simple: non-abrasive cleaners and soft cloths.
