What We Install

Metallic isn’t “just epoxy.” It’s a resin art finish built in layers: surface prep, base coat, metallic movement design, and a protective topcoat. The result is a seamless surface with depth, motion, and a luxury feel — designed for your space and your lighting.

Our Process

Metallic is art + system building. The “wow” only lasts if the prep and topcoat are done right.

1) Design + ScopeSurface type, size, colors, movement style, and finish (Gloss/Satin/Matte).
2) Prep (The Foundation)Grinding, repair, and profile so the system bonds correctly.
3) Metallic MovementLayered design work for depth, flow, and lighting response.
4) Protective TopcoatDurability, chemical resistance, and traction options if needed.
Reality Check When Comparing Companies
Not all “epoxy” companies are the same.

This is a general comparison of common categories you’ll see in the market — not a claim about any specific business.

“Epoxy is bad.” That’s fear-based marketing. Ask what system they install, the prep, and what the warranty actually covers.
“I’ve been doing this for years!” (…yeah, flake). Metallic is art — if they can’t prove it, you’re the test project.

FAQ
Is metallic epoxy slippery?

No way… not unless you’ve got a friend with a hose and you’re running full speed like you’re trying out for the NFL. 😄 Real answer: we can finish metallic in Gloss, Satin, or Matte, and for entryways, shops, or high-traffic areas we can add a traction option that keeps the look while improving grip.

How durable is it for commercial spaces?

Very durable — commercial performance comes down to prep + the protective topcoat system. We build the system around your traffic (foot traffic, rolling chairs, carts, light equipment) and the environment (cleaners, spills, moisture). With the right build and a simple maintenance plan, metallic floors hold up extremely well while still delivering that high-end “wow” look.

Do you install flake floors?

We focus on metallic-only — that’s our lane. You’ll see some marketing that tries to say “epoxy is bad,” but that’s usually a shortcut for: “trust me and stop asking questions.” The truth is: most failures come from poor prep, cheap materials, or the wrong topcoat — not because epoxy “doesn’t work.” Flake has its place, but the textured look is yesterday’s trend and can require more scrubbing over time. Metallic is smoother, more modern, more custom — and it looks expensive because it actually is a craft.

What’s the timeline?

Timelines depend on square footage, prep condition, and finish choice. After you request a quote, we confirm scope and give you a clean schedule.
